CDCLA opened its 8th child care center on August 1, 2012. The Donald R. Carrington Children's Center is licensed for 60 preschool-age children. It is located on the campus of the Washington School in Hawthorne.
CDCLA is in the third and final year of our Capacity Building Grant from First 5 LA. Our Early Educator Leadership Capacity Building Project provides much needed opportunities for training and professional development for our child development center staff.
CDCLA currently has 4 accredited centers.
