CDCLA currently has seven Early Education Centers throughout Los Angeles County. Our centers are located in Downtown Los Angeles, East Los Angeles, South Los Angeles, Lomita, Canoga Park and Sylmar. CDCLA operates the employer-sponsored child care centers at the LAC+USC Medical Center, the Olive View-UCLA Medical Center and at the CalTrans building in downtown Los Angeles. We also provide child care services for low-income working families through funding from the California Department of Education. CDCLA coordinates a network of Family Child Care Providers clustered around the Bright Futures and Nueva Maravilla Child Development Centers to provide care for infants and toddlers. Ages Served
For information about the ages served at each center click the links on the Child Care Centers page. Early Learning CDCLA uses the High/Scope Curriculum at each of our Child Development Centers. Our programs are developmentally appropriate and the staff is highly qualified. Children are allowed to develop at their own rate and are encouraged to make choices.
